This Aint Vegas were born in December of 2001. They belong in Sunderland, North East England.

So far they have released 2 albums, "The Black Lung Captain" and "The Night Don Benito Saved My Life", the latter of the two appearing in Drowned In Sound’s top 30 albums of this millenium so far, high praise indeed.

Throughout This Aint Vegas’ existence, they have managed to play some amazing places not only in the UK, but in Europe, visiting countries like Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Rep, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Holland. This Aint Vegas have shared the stage with some amazing bands such as Hoover, Hot Snakes, Field Music, The Fucking Champs, 90 Day Men, Futureheads, Q And Not U, Chinese Stars, Retisonic, Robocop Kraus, Maximo Park, Check Engine, Unit Ama, Kill Yourself, Bullet Union to name a few.
