This Et Al

After featuring on the "Dance To The Radio: Leeds" compilation and a sold–out single in April 2005 ("He Shoots Presidents" — a split with fellow Leeds band Forward Russia!), This Et Al’s first release proper, "You’ve Driven For Miles…" sold out in two days. The follow up, "Wardens" released in late November, continued the trend.

Having headlined the new Lee Sounds Unsigned stage at the Leeds Carling Weekend in late August 2005, all 3 singles received repeated airplay on Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe (Radio 1) and John Kennedy (Xfm). The band released their latest single "Sabbatical" in late May 2006 on all formats to critical acclaim, and toured with L.A. goth–rockers Scarling and Amusement Parks On Fire. A visit to Maida Vale (Radio 1 session for One Music) in June and XFM (session for John Kennedy) in July followed before the band hid away to finish the sessions for their album.

The band have subsequently released their debut album "Baby Machine" on FC Recordings
